What’s so good about sheds?

I hope this sounds as funny reading this as it did to our family at the time...

We were sat enjoying a coffee with family in a nice coffee shop over looking the sea. A very pleasant day. The grown ups drank coffee; the children had hot chocolate. You even get a flake with your drinks in here...very tasty.

As we review the days activities, generally just ‘pottering‘ around enjoying some well earned time off, we chat about the pictures on the walls. They appear very contemporary, stylish photos of landmarks across the UK and well known local view points. Many are of London landmarks so the conversation drifts from London Eye to Big Ben and Palace of Westminster.

My daughter then says “what’s so good about sheds?”. Caught slightly off guard and a little bemused, some of us choose to ignore this unusual comment but others try to be helpful. “Well sheds are good for keeping things in and storing bits you don’t want in the house.” “Even in London?” she replies. Slightly more confused now, I respond “Yes, even in London but why do you ask?”

I can hear the cogs whirring..... “There, up on that picture, it says London from the Shed.....”

There is a brief silence as most of those at the table turn to see this amazing picture.

“London from The Shard princess” my wife replies, “London from The Shard”.
